A businessman named Luther van Dormer hires a detective, Wyatt Culver, to escort Luther's daughter Eve to Eve's high school reunion. When Eve proves reluctant to go with Wyatt, he abducts her. As the two make their way across country to the reunion, they fall in love. Meanwhile, Eve's twin sister Simone falls for Wyatt's colleague Julian.
